I made a pretty large post detailing my issues with GFWL. You can find it here:

Man I am NOT intent on repeating my freaking mega-post on the topic, that would just be spamming.

Fortunately I answered this question a long time ago, specifically with regards to DoW2, so I'm just going to re-paste my answer here.

You mean... two expansions for CoH? And two for DoW 2?

So I'm guessing you just didn't play Opposing Fronts and the whole campaign centred around operation Market Garden?

And pretty much most strategy games set around WW2 really.

You uh, don't really understand how these ban systems work do you?

There's a reason for that.

"Do you really think this helmet will stop a bullet?!"

N/M

Why would you want to do that when there's a perfectly good franchise remake FPS incarnation of Syndicate that plays nothing like the first game?

You seem to misunderstand. They are making a statement and request, and there's nothing wrong with that. And they've done so in a constructive manner. Yet all you can complain about is how "entitled" anyone is for doing so.

Yeah I just can't stand those people who donated $60,000 odd to charity. Entitled gits.

I'm just going to go ahead and largely agree here.

Generally speaking, MS will allow for free DLC on the 360 if it's going to be available for free on the PS3.

I don't understand how that guy could have ever been considered by ANYONE, ANYWHERE as viable PR.

Apologies for the wall of text, comments section has been acting weird for me and won't give me line breaks. I tried experimenting to see whether putting a full stop on each paragraph line would work, but it wouldn't let me edit after that first attempt, which is why there's only one paragraph.

Funny, I DID read the original Eurogamer article. The one before where Mojang was interviewed. Mojang didn't instigate this, Eurogamer point blank ASKED them effectively "Well? Are you going to SUE them?!", to which they made a joke that it's too dull to sue over. Their stance was basically one of don't care, all the

Game or no game, at least he's honest about the reasons for it, which I can appreciate.
