The patch delay issues with DoW2 weren't really to do with THQ at all really. Relic have actually done an exceptional job of supporting the DoW franchise, and it's surprising how much leeway THQ gave Relic on giving the community freebies like new game modes and map packs.

It's very telling that as soon as the exclusivity with MS ended, Remedy actually opted to self- publish the PC port themselves. Says a lot about their dedication to it right there.

I seriously doubt DoW3 is coming out this year. 2013 is far more likely. And yeah, personally I'm really hoping for it as well. I feel like DoW2 was a good game but it suffered (at least the multiplayer did) from a lot of design and implementation decisions that seemed good at the time but didn't turn out too well on…

It's pretty ironic when Ubisoft complain that their PC-side sales have dropped something like 90%, they blame it on piracy, AND keeping harping on about how important their uncrackable DRM is.

Um, no offense, but VGChartz stats are almost always completely MADE UP quite frankly. They spew utter tripe time and again based on guesswork when official stats haven't been released, and also, excluding DD sales.

Funny, one of those developers already did voice their comments on such views. Months ago:

I did something in Gears PC alright. Even put up with the utterly bull GFWL subscription stuff they were trying to force on people.
