@cptincognito: Well it's... certainly been a long time since I'v been called a racist on the internet.

@exglade: Can't trade in / refund PC versions typically.

@WrongThinker: Um, they would have had those high definition textures right from the start. Heck, the ones they're releasing even now probably aren't up to the fidelity of the masters they used during the creation of the game.

@wtfitsed: Bah, that's a silly image.

@antde2001:

@manchild: That's uh, that's kind of the whole joke.

Perhaps we were the monsters all along...

Haha, I had to look up "Ricer" because I was wondering what could be so expensive about potatoes. :)

@Kyosuke_Nanbu: Whereas if it DID have invasive DRM as a core feature it would... still be pirated heavily unfortunately. Except it would also be irritating the actual purchasers as well.

@Manix: This is anecdotal, but pretty much everyone I knew who used to torrent stuff could and did certainly afford to go out boozing every week.

@curly haired boy: The most bizarre thing about habitual torrentors is that not only do they not play or watch the vast majority of what they download (beyond maybe a few minutes, half hour). But they also pretty much lose the ability to appreciate anything as a result.

Ask anyone into high level Street Fighter play for example, and they'll pretty

@ShushKebab: I thought LoL's pricing model was actually quite clever. And the PA guys seemed to agree on it in the news post attached to that comic.

@wiskill: Man I wish I could up this post further.

@KylenX: It works via a magnetic field, so it's actually capable of 1:1 mapping (IIRC there was a demonstration video of 1:1 melee in Left 4 Dead 2 using this). Couldn't say how that compares to Move.

I may not have played it yet, but I do know that the devs have said that player sizes are going to be different between the two formats, and map sizes will be adjusted accordingly. Leads to a pretty different gameplay experience.
