@skywalker24: Funny, I keep seeing and getting the opposite arguments. Namely how stupid PC gamers are for non-existent and incredibly minor visual updates, and spending $1000's to do so.

Interesting like a car accident.
@TheRealDoshu: I'd say yes, but then I don't see why both can't be blamed. This is an exploit that should not have been open.
Can't edit but just to be clear: I'm referring to all hear early taunting of Chell before she gets stuck being a tuber.
You mean out of character like saving Chell at the last minute when it was an ideal opportunity to let her die?
She's being entirely contradictory in her statements order to bother Wheatley. Which means nothing with regards to her earlier statements because as noted by both her and Whatley, she was making them in order to be vindictive (hence the "look at her" comment). She's saying "But just work with me" because, yes you are…
To be honest, I don't see how you can say she didn't, as far as I'm concerned the line can be read either way.
You, like 90% of the people who watch that kind of tripe on TV, clearly missed the contextual point.
@Shaneisonfire: And Gamespot. Way back in the day he wrote "The final hours of Half-Life" for Gamespot. And again with "The final hours of Half-Life 2".
@emwurst: You just say that because you're one of those super wealthy elitists.
It sounds like some people are pegging this as Lineage having "failed" somehow, which is really the wrong way of looking at it.
Well I'd be lying if I said that some of these initiatives weren't a little misguided in their implementation as well. Look up the wiki page on the OLPC sometime, under "criticism". A fair few of the complaints to do with it are actually the stuff you mentioned.
@Ari Schwartz: I've seen this comment crop up time and again with initiatives to increase technological access in the 3rd world, and whilst well meaning is a little misguided, because it's not about "skipping steps" as you put it, those steps have to be in place already.
@Dasyat: What exactly is there to "forgive" here?
@agentdynamo: MC Escher too I would imagine.
@Sugoi: Where'd you hear that?
Believe it or not, I wasn't calling you out on that. After all, you were the one who asked, as you said.
Too late for me to remove it, and I apologise if it's out of line.
Well if you want. Caution, long post incoming, and it links to lots of OTHER long posts. I'm pretty much forced to be this way because if I don't carefully elucidate on EVERY freaking point and go into absolute detail, whiny GFWL fanboys simply accuse me of "hating" on GFWL for no good reason. Because accusing someone…
@Cerby: For singleplayer games? Not so bad, you can typically ignore it (although it does still have some niggles).
