@Jonn: To be blunt, I agree with that comment. The change in setting was very likely influenced by the hardware necessary to run something as intensive as a fully fleshed out jungle environment. @Tiller: Well if you want more details on the conversation, the most recent PC Gamer US Podcast has an interview with the Uber entertainment guys where they go into this (amongst other things, like how they went about adapting MNC for a PC control scheme).

@drunkentyger: Seriously. If Valve were out to shaft anyone, they would've done it a long time ago with Killing Floor, which is as close a competitor to Left 4 Dead as you can get. There again, the release history and support is similar. Right down to having a tie in on relevant TF2 items just because they look cool.

@ShaughnTr0n: Left out of what? The 360 was the original release platform. They're just throwing in a few extra hats for people who buy early on the PC, with the hope that it'll bring in more sales for a title that lost its major hype a long time ago. That's about it.
