@Alex Winton: Largely because MS won't allow it.

@PatMan33: In fairness, it's also the cheapest version.
@xilefian: And Move.
@Wolfbullet: As far as I'm concerned, I'm happy with this state of affairs.
@PatMan33: We get the Mac version for free, and cross-platform play.
@terrible: It's certainly a question. I'm just going off of how Valve currently treats Steam-play PC/Mac versions. You buy the PC version of the game, you get the Mac version by default, and vice-versa. But they can't be used at the same time (at least not online) since they're tied to the same account. I suspect…
@The_End254: You could, but likelihood is that you wouldn't be able to run the co-op at the same time as him. Works the same with the PC/Mac versions.
@Ackers Eats Crackers: Funny, that's what most people say to Valve around 'sale time'.
@terrible: If he did that, you probably wouldn't be able to cross-platform play with your friend. Both copies linked to the same account.
So basically, Valve just beat Microsoft to the punch. AGAIN.
@GluttonousGamer: Oh stop being such a fanboy. Valve didn't get Jack-all from Sony other than their support. Gabe Newell has certainly never had problems with castigating the platform in the past.

@Altima NEO: Sounds like you might be interested in looking up the Razer Hydra, which was shown off at CES recently.
@Beardbeardly: I'm pretty certain it just says you can't block it with just TWO 2x2 buildings.
"Customizable Hotkey Support has been added."
@Sir_Killingston: The bigger concern (as evidenced from the rest of that thread, and the numerous other threads on the topic there that have been locked over time) is that it's running off of GFWL. Which frankly, is still a terrible, poorly thought out system.
@Lazthelost: GFWL Was nothing if not an outright detriment to Dawn of War 2. No ifs or buts about it. It says a LOT that Relic had to split the playerbase, and re-wrote the multiplayer architecture all over again, and that all this was considered the best case scenario as opposed to staying with GFWL.
@trickybuz93: My issue isn't so much with Alan Wake itself. It's with Microsoft's handling of the entire thing.
@whde20001: If Microsoft had beaten Valve to the punch, to this very day we'd be paying a Live subscription fee for features that have always been standard by default.
