Steering wheel looks like it has an airbag as wheel. Maybe 87?

You can’t one the lotto, it costs two.
Disagree. He spent a decent chunk of time cruising Germany in a Mercedes listening to Kraftwerk. Sounds pretty jalop to me.
Sorry but mirrored cars are just stupid. Blinding yourself and everyone around you is just what you want to do to be safe on the road.
So one car has white lines and the other was a mirror? Are we sure this wasn’t actually an 80's project?
Can we get a lot count?
The problem with this (and I say this as a former saturn owner) is that they started ok. But over time, the rings gave out in those little motors and while it didn’t cause much in the way of issues, it wasn’t a problem directly from the factory, it got worse over time. The rings they used were just shit.
I really liked the Lincoln as well. Very nice in person, but definitely not a reproduction of the concept
After seeing it in person, it looks like an MKS or an MKZ. It’s really not as close to the concept as it may seem: it looks smaller, more toned down, less dramatic. I don’t think the end product was nearly the leap forward it needed to be. And I’m not the only person at the auto show who had that opinion.
The wipers even have that anthropomorphic hands-up “Dude, WTF?” gesture.
Yes, it would, and I’ve made note of this before when commenting on this series. Apparently Jalopnik has some kind of policy against it.
“This case has ingredients I’ve spent my life working on,” Edwards told Reuters in an interview on Monday. The litigation against Volkswagen, he said, requires trial expertise, regulatory know-how and a global perspective.
The MKZ can be had all day long for well under $45K. I feel like $47K or so would be a good starting point for the Lincoln, with only a very well-equipped model ever reaching $60K.
The new Lincoln Continental 2016 will be available at a base price of $60,000 and it goes up to $100,000, according to optional features.
That's what's missing. I couldn't put my finger on it - looking at the rear quarter panel and where it meets the trunk you really see it.
Yes, that’s what a big cushiony American land-barge needs, a manual.
I dunno... Something seems like it got lost in translation? Comparing the two images something looks... off with the production version. I can’t put my finger on it.
Kind of a big difference between a truck full of white trash and an actual government.
Humanity never ceases to amaze me with how easily people get butthurt over things, and then the great lengths they go to in order to alleviate said butthurt.
