A friend of mine had a (77?) Dasher diesel that he used as a runner car in his shop. He used that thing from the mid 80's until the early 2000's. It was a crap can, but it would not die.

Meanwhile, over at Chevy...

Hey Jim-Bob, that Vee-hickle is sure funny lookin’.. lets pull it over for no good reason and have us a look-see.

I’d be curious to see what the manual take rate is for the WRX. I’m guessing it is similar to the Miata.

Obviously, something must have happened between these two prior to that.

...less pretty

Mitsubishi is just happy to rank number 1 on something.

I’ve been hoping that Factory Five would make a Pantera, Mangusta, or Vallelunga kit.

Wow! How did it get that giant abscess in the corner of the fascia?

The thing that makes it unique is the fiberglass kit, which is also the biggest drawback of the vehicle. CP

I’m all for a wide range of color choices, but that aqua color is an absolutely fucking hideous assault on the eyes. Anyone that actually chooses that color should be immediately brought in for a full psychological evaluation.

So the ‘ultimate driving machine’ fails to be the better driving car, but it has a fancier interior. Ok

.

You wouldn’t be allowed to raise or lower the top by yourself. It would take two people and six special service tools. You need to take it to the dealer for that.

They should make the kids that did it manually load the debris into the dump trucks.

It’s a series of tubes.

This is an obvious insurance job. The owner and the bear are in cahoots.

Most people that bought this otherwise very fine cars had serious transmission problems, often more than once, and will never buy another Ford product because of that.

It’s a neat little trucklet, and, ultimately, $13.5K isn’t much money. It is too much money for this vehicle though - by a lot. Cut the price in half. CP

Those chrome wheels are an eyesore. The rest of the truck is fine.
