Not when the other peoples idea of playing for fun is to ruin the other players fun.

Because people boost in public games, thus messing up the games for the other players. Other players should, and do, then go to the boosters player tag and reprt them from the in-game menu for boosting.

I ran into it once in MW3, couple of little brats got a MOAB. We did not catch on at first and were all duly impressed that someone got a MOAB. But then I took a closer look at the leaderboard and then promptly hunted both of them down and killed them both (old hardcore, b4 ricochet)...repeatedly.

I think of it kind of like....If you ran naked through the mall, you would be breaking the law for one and be arrested by the regular police. But also, you could/would be facing some sort of punishment / banishment from the mall as well.

I usually prefer to play with a full or nearly full squad of friends as well, is way more fun that way. Occasionally if I decide to play by myself or with like one other friend, I tend to dial my expectations for teamplay WAY down.

Well, thank god, because as everyone knows there are no imbeciles on Steam, or PSN or Nintendo's online...all your problems and frustrations will go away for sure.

All excellent points, and encouraging....but on the other hand, some people just may not be cut out for certain games. I know people I have played with a long time, and they have never given up at it and have logged many hours at certain games...and well, I would not tell them this to their face, but they STILL suck.

Thats what I posted too...think about it, is there any sport out there that would get any ratings at all if their broadcast consisted solely of constant switching back and forth between first person helment cameras? No...none that I can think of.

Very true....skill wise, what they are doing out there is not that far above regular "pretty good" players...it's not like basketball where they are drilling DEEP 3 pointers with regularity, dunking the ball etc. etc. or football where a guy is out there running a 4.2 forty to make a leaping catch of a ball thrown 60

I think if they wanted to make it even remotely interesting to watch, requires some technology in their broadcast above and beyond just flipping back and forth between players views. Something that shows multiple picture in picture, windows on the screen with the main one being NOT the view from some player...but an

Exactly, and I would not even much that the skill level is THAT much above and beyond other non-"mlg" players. Biggest thing these guys have going for them is constant practice, strategy and coordination playing as a team + deep map knowledge, some discipline control choke points and stay in control etc. etc.

His cousin Linus did the same to ruin my absolute hatred of Peanuts.

Because any time wasted even giving any importance to the impact on our "reputation" in foreign policy decision making is foolish, naive, reckless and worst of all...dangerous. The affect on this supposed global "reputation" should have little to no bearing on foreign policy decisions.

Well duh, of course they are going to deny it...what would you expect?

There is no such thing as "reputation in the world"...just like there are no "friends" or "communities" amongst nations.

I agree with all those points...but the one exception would be, a country run by a lunatic (or lunatics) NOT remotely interested in exercising common sense.

Clearly the Gawker legal team gave orders for that not to be mentioned....

As a parent that games, and having the same situation numerous times, I usually tried to deal with this by being firm (having been rightly pissed off at having been ignored for the prior hour telling him to turn it off) but also cognizant of how much one can get "vested" into particular levels/chapters etc. and how

At $600, $700, $800 a pop...even if their margins are relatively thin, they are not selling the razor cheap. And as far as the blades go...IMO, of those 500,000 apps, I bet about 400,000 of them are worthless / rarely get used. AND, those can relatively easily be made to work or other platforms, either existing

Ah, but you all see what he is NOT saying there....no denial whatsoever regarding the potential existence of an ARG for Left 4 Dead 3!
