and if you keep reading you’ll see:

Is this satire? If not, yikes.

Kotakus coverage of it is not representative of either the critical or fan consensus of the title.  I've already played 10 hours or it in two days.  It's a lot of fun.

Counterpoint the game is actually a lot of fun. Is it polished to perfection? Hell no. But it is the best Dragin Ball simulator in existence. If you are a fan of the series you'll enjoy this a lot.

It’s close to 90% positive on Steam, and I’m actually enjoying it a lot. It’s not perfect, but it’s certainly better than the last few DBZ games. I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a super deep RPG, and they really should have had lower expectations going in. I mean, it’s Dragonball. It needs to

Not sure what this guy is going on about, the game is brilliant. So true to the show in every way and a breath of fresh air for fans of Dragonball Z with both great combat and quests that make sense. DBZ is about fighting and getting stronger hence most of the quests are fighting orientated. It’s like the author of

The game has a 78% aggregate score on meta critic which is fairly good. So it is far from bad. Get a few more opinions on things rather than latching on to the first one you see. I am still waiting for a complete consensus and a little more research but I can’t just dismiss a game because a dude named Zack doesn’t

What I’m finding weird is the contrast between Kotaku reviews and Steam reviews. The game is getting trashed by Kotaku but it’s 89% positive reviews on Steam.

Im really enjoying this game

After playing several hours of it, its definitely not bad. The game itself is pretty decent and is quite fun. The combat has a bit more depth to it than the mindlessness of the Xenoverse games.

I usually don’t have time to read the Kotaku features, so I fully expected to browse the first couple of paragraphs and move on.

Don’t give a shit if I get dragged for this, but:

Y’know what, if there isn’t enough mutual trust and respect, and his marriage isn’t strong enough to withstand some high school level, bullshit internet gossip, then he has way more pressing matters to deal with.

What claiming he won’t stream with women because of “gossip” really implies about about his character, in

I don’t really understand the complaints about the combat. I’ve played a fair share of turn-based strategy games and Banner Saga’s combat seems perfectly serviceable, if not outstanding. What specifically did you dislike about it?

Because Dracula’s castle travels the world, and because the bosses in the game were inspired from mythologies around the world.

Motion controls to fine tune stick aiming have been “surprisingly not terrible” in Uncharted for Vita, Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2, Splatoon, Splatoon 2, Fortnite and, you know, every single console shooter that has ever used them.

How is that surprising? Isn’t gyro aiming better than regular aiming with all games that support it (specifically gyro aiming, not the wii pointer aiming + no second analog meant moving by pointing outside the center of the screen).

Ran eight miles this morning. Physical activity has little to do with my distaste for this specific game, or the myriad issues attached to it.

But, hey, maybe read a book or something.  ;)

I...

I’m almost at a loss for words here.

Almost.

The idea that women are some kind of mystical creature that require knowledge of the Stygian abyss to understand is a myth that has been perpetuated by men of all types, in all groups, since time immemorial.

A particular subset of gamers, however, have found a way to
