Not just the suits and animatronics, but the stunt performers as well! They did some incredible work in heavy, hot, sweaty-ass costumes filled with servos and machine parts running right next to their faces while filming! They did flips, kicks, somersaults, some crazy stuff all things considered.

It was pretty damn dark for a PG movie, but it was also heavily inspired by the original Eastman and Laird comic, with designs from the kid’s show thrown in. It was a pretty perfect hybrid IMO, really well done.

I will die defending the 2007 CGI one.  Yeah, the plot lost the thread with all the ancient demons or whatever the were on the loose.  But the performances were top notch, the animation was excellent, and the fight in the rain between Raph and Leo elevates the entire rest of the movie.

Moon Knight was good. Take that back! 😂

Or they could....like...pay the writers and actors?

I was sure the “second season” thing was a typo because I don’t remember the first season coming out and that’s how little “HOT D” is on my radar.

A bunch of people got sold on digital ownership as a means to “permanently” store their favorite things without having to clog up their home libraries.

I think that would make sense for it to be shorter. What I don’t like is when they pad it out with indie horror movies that I am never going to watch or hear of ever again.

Counterpoint: it was great.

Dune and Dunerer

Dune 2: Worm Harder

Dune Part Two?

I feel like I’m just repeating myself here, but we already have a lot of stuff like that even within Star Wars. You pointed as much out yourself. You don’t need to be up on Clone Wars and Rebels to watch, say, Andor. Mandalorian was able to recap its backstory in detail because it had a viewpoint character

Wtf is this sentence. This isn’t even a typo, did you even spend 2 minutes to read your post or did a crappy ChatGPT competitor spit this out:

There’s an update to the story. The city auditor is looking into the tree trimming because it was not sanctioned (the trees are under city control.) The trimming was more severe than it has ever been and the wrong time of year. There is no required permit on file to do it privately and the city itself did not do it.

They wanted to try something more modern, but didn't have any scripts for some reason.

Studio’s just going straight up 80's movie villain.

I was going to mention it too. That scene was an interesting social experiment. Also, the cell phone surveillance system Batman used to track down the Joker’s hostages.
