Man, it feels like weekly releases encourage spoilers because people just assume everyone watched at the same time they did. I actually stopped reading io9 outside of Morning Spoilers for that exact reason (ironically perhaps, but here they’re marked and aren’t shoved into the headline/feed image).

I hate the idea that everything should be standalone, or some kind of jumping-on point. Serial storytelling is a way to tell stories that are bigger than one episode, and creators should be allowed to do that.

I’m guessing there will be some sort of extended teaser... I’m certain there will be a bunch of “watch this before Ahsoka” listicles... And I’m sure the show itself will be digestible without having seen it. Will the experience be equally rewarding for all parties involved? Not likely. If you’re not invested in Clone

Clone Wars and Rebels are both great series (I’m a bigger fan of Rebels), and worth watching. However, you can probably focus on seasons 5-7 of Clone Wars for the most important elements of Ahsoka’s arc as it will impact this series.

Ah, I had forgotten that.

She’ll be back. They seem to love Agent Carter, and this version of the character certainly has room to return in the Multiverse, even ignoring she should have been 80 years old in that scene.

Even in it’s normal state, it only blends in if it lands in Britain between ~1930 and ~1970. At any other place or time, hot pink is no more out of the ordinary.

A hot pink TARDIS seems like it would lose the advantage of actually blending it like it is supposed to do, but I guess it depends on the local context

A possible sign of a stroke?

If Gunn wants my money two years from now he’d better use this suit.

I tried to read the first book over 30 years ago when it came out in paperback, and even to my then-postadolescent brain it just felt like the most generic, cliched Fantasy Saga™ imaginable, like someone had taken their awesome D&D campaign from middle school and adapted it into a novel.

As he mentioned, scheduling is not his job. Those whose job it is are likely trying to figure out how to stagger release dates to paper over as many holes as possible considering it’s likely that absolutely nothing is going to get made after Friday (and the looming SAG strike).

Imagine showing this to a studio exec from 25 years ago and trying to explain it all.

...the latest film action film...

The photo leaked already and it was blurry and gross so might as well own it.

It was this one

I wonder if they revealed it because of that AI generated image making the rounds recently (which is no where near as cool as this reality).

they’re getting ahead of what will likely be set leak photos when they film exteriors.
