I much preferred Preacher to The Boys. I liked The Boys too, but it seemed to be about the shock value first and foremost. There’s plenty of that in Preacher too, but there just seems to be a solid heart beating beneath it all.

I’ve just read the first Sex Criminals Trade. I don’t think a first issue has ever grabbed me so instantly. Usually it takes a few issues or even an arc or two, even with some of the greats, but Sex Criminals had me hooked instantly.
