At least they didn't spend an entire episode on it, as TWD would have done.

Did anyone notice how they've made Bronn go pirate? He's all tanned and leather-jerkined and black-eyelinered now. Also his hair looked darker and more rakish.

I think she'll make it back to Westeros with them and come into conflict with those puritan Sparrows, who probably don't have much time for the theatre.

Well I'm glad they didn't waste that on Arya's training montages, considering the result.

It was a way to make the acting troupe her only way of getting out of Braavos.

When you have a character who obviously isn't going to die yet and you hinge their entire portion of the episode on a threat to their life, that is when plot armor comes into play and is annoying.

Absolutely the troupe.

I thought the High Sparrow's talk with Margaery was well-written. It showed that his religion isn't actually based on a love for the poor, but on a loathing for humanity. "It's hard to like the poor. They represent what we are without our illusions." That sounds profound and all, but it's actually pretty damn

Yeah, Miles even entered the comments defending his position.

Braavos is basically a video game town.

Cy, were you happy to see Swearingen hang?

Oh so THAT'S the big spoiler everyone was upset about? I was careful not to read the interview so I wouldn't find out.

I really, really hate to say it, but it was the most Walking Dead thing this show has done.

I know what you mean, but I remember thinking at the time that the Hound's "death" was suspicious because his and Arya's storyline had been so punishingly brutal up to that point. It didn't make sense to me to have his death occur decorously offscreen. So I don't really see this as a resurrection.

Nah, we saw him express doubts about the Centre to Claudia. If he had something up his sleeve that scene wouldn't have been in there. I think you're mistaking his ambivalence about himself and his effectiveness for shadiness.

Say what you like about Elizabeth, but she has never been shown to enjoy the honeypot aspect of her work. In fact, she has shown more ambivalence about that than she has about killing people. I think we were supposed to think she was horrified to the point that she (for once) misread the situation.

Oohh. Thank you. You and Oleg connected those dots faster than I did.

Uh…except that, according to the logic of the story, she shouldn't have been able to acquire the amount of skill she has without having been forced to let go of petty feelings like class envy and personal spite.

In a bizarrely ironic twist: Korean porn.

Oh, I'm hardened enough not to waste my time rooting for a season extra.
