No one before Will had figured out that the bodies were moved and then moved back. Will was absolutely doing his magic trick.

I thought the show fell down on that a bit. In the book it's kind of miraculous that he figured out what the mirror shards were for and found the thumb-print on the eyeball. He got into Dolarhyde's mind to figure those things out. In the show it looked like those things were kind of humdrum observations.

I'd say that Dolarhyde was indeed innocent but I don't know about kind-hearted. He had too much psychodrama going on to be able to really care about other people, I thought.

Ok but I will still take Goodbye Horses over Inna Godda Davida anyday.

You know they're making a tv show of To Live and Die in LA?

Bringing in the Hannibal stuff is also what's making Hannibal's jail cell freedoms seem so odd, I think.

I've been keeping my thoughts to myself because everyone else seems to love how she looks, but I can't stand what they're doing with her hair and lipstick. She looks anachronistic now, like one of the villains.

Molly in the book is super-supportive. She's just got more of a hip, breezy vibe than show Molly.

I thought it was an odd choice to leave out the conversation with Molly's son. But then, considering the location change I guess there wasn't really a place for them to have it without freezing their balls off, come to think of it.

I am relieved to see I wasn't the only one disappointed not to have the beach. I thought the winter cabin seemed so claustrophic by comparison. And then I felt really shallow.

I'm confused because it seems like you either have take out the sexual element completely and change the story or the sexual element has to be central. Making it kinda sorta sexual has me scratching my head.

It was the father and two sons being spectators. But they were all dead!

So it IS the commenting/criticizing.

We have on one side the Chessanis who are "creatively patriarchal" and connected with Ani's father's commune. Ani's father likes to name his kids after Ancient Greek figures. On the other side we have this Mexican Santa Muerte cult. If the Birdman is connected to Santa Muerte it will be old trope of the

Stan's wife and kid are Hispanic; they are pure gold, as we know. Paul's pregnant beard is Hispanic and she seems nice enough. The missing girl Ani rescued from the party seems to have a decent family. Sad Waitress is Noble-seeming. I'd say the deal is more that almost every side character in this thing is Hispanic

They never went into what would happen if Ray is the real father. They just made it seem like legally the end of the world for Ray's chances at joint custody if Ray isn't the father and then said that visits would be supervised until they found out.

What she said about the childhood rape destroying Ani's life was meant to be poignant rather than sarcastic and her only quibble with it was that she's tired of that always being the backstory for female characters.

Worse than that. Stan was killed in episode three, I think, and no one remembered who he was even then.

That's exactly what the reviewer was saying, beema. I mean, she says the exact same things as you in the following paragraph.

He died when OJ was fleeing down the freeway — CARRYING A MASK — it all fits.
