Are they really less likely to reoffend? Or just less likely to get caught a second time? How many offenses will they commit before they get caught the first time?

When I first hit publish, I had put “pendant” instead of “pedant.” I corrected it immediately, but it wasn’t showing up right away. Those were a tense 3 minutes as I waited for the edit to show up and hoped that no pedants would show up to call me out for using the wrong word for pedant.

Being corrected is the one thing that I can’t stand more than being wrong.

Actually, I would think she would have a lot to base her argument on. She was a sex symbol willingly and profitably and has a relationship history with a number of guys who were into porn. That life history can research the long-term impact of porn better than any research project. People can come to regret things

the Trivago guy is creepy af. he’s constantly rumpled and looks like he just woke up w a hangover 20 mins ago and was late to taping. seriously the most unsavory spokesperson ever.

Same, to this day those commercials infuriate me. Here’s an interview he did, apparently the clothing was a deliberate choice by the company who clearly have a different idea of what “relaxed” and “approachable” means in the Americas
