Praising Ivanka back in 2014 was hardly controversial or noteworthy. Before 2016, she seemed like a well-spoken, poised and successful businesswoman. It’s not like she was praising Donald.
It’s such a weird word choice, tbh. Like, I wouldn’t necessarily describe myself as “offended” by harassment. I’m outraged, I’m sickened, I’m disgusted, I’m frightened, etc. “Offended” feels almost too mild, like my second cousin’s political views offend me, but I just get through Thanksgiving anyways.
I mean, prior to helping her dad do all this terrible stuff, why should we have cared about her? I don’t care about Paris Hilton.
