It confused me, too. I think the key is in the "sometimes" in the first sentence. Those who read the brief description might have incorrectly thought they ate the popcorn when they didn't. Let's say 20% of those who read the brief description and didn't eat it thought they did.

The issue at play here reminds me of a relevant comic, which you can hopefully see. If not, it's right here: [www.smbc-comics.com]

I don't think anyone is doubting this is fake. However, the easiest way to tell is by looking at the actual baseball. The batter hits it in a completely different direction, and the editors actually left the original hit a little too long. Just watch it.

Since we're on the subject of atheism, here's my contribution. It's quite amusing.

Now playing

Bijan had a Veyron already. I guess he got bored of the way it looked.

A lot of these are really cool, but I've got to throw the Koenigsegg's signature telephone dial rims into the mix. I haven't seen them mentioned yet.

Congrats on the COTD!

The Verizon Skype app uses your plan's minutes (even when calling Skype users), which seems completely pointless, unless you're making international calls.

I've tried setting pictures of various aspect ratios as the background, and they all seem to be enlarged (even though they are uploaded at resolutions at least as high as those of my monitor), and therefore look very pixelated. What am I doing wrong?

Except she never came back.

Dude, WTF is wrong with you? It saddens me that someone promoted your comment, but I'm hoping it was an accident.

Oh, I wish. Diddly.

Barfing Pac-Man 49 seconds into the video. There's my quality contribution to this article.

Wouldn't it be nice if things worked out that way? But the officer undoubtedly got my speed with his car's radar, which clocked me at exactly 63 (even with a healthy margin of error, it's still way over the limit). So he's not missing evidence.

I'm not a woman, and I did not justify my speeding at all to the officer. So I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "managed to save money by saying what you said."

As others have kind of mentioned, I would feel like a dumbass fighting a ticket if I was consciously speeding for no good reason.

I got an email from them about that yesterday, as well. I thought it couldn't just be a coincidence, since the CollegeBoard email looked so similar to the one from TiVo. I haven't seen any spam, yet.

@Pressure: He's saying that the PowerVR SGX543 graphics core was bundled in with the GeForce graphics.

It seems most of the top-notch articles on Gizmodo lately have all been taken from another website. Sure, there are a few exceptions, but I would say the overall quality of the original writing we've been seeing on Gizmodo has diminished in the last few months.
