@Scarbane: Actually, it occurs far more often than that. July 2011 is the next one, and March 2013 follows. Then there's August 2014, and so on and so on.

@SeventyTimes7: I just read all the replies to your original comment, and the amount of laziness on this "Internet blog" is stupendous.

Now playing

They should have let this guy have a go at it. He's a professional.

@aek8: The only reason he even went to a doctor was because he had had a small bump under his tongue that was a bit bothersome. He had lived with this bump for over 20 years, but he thought he'd get it checked out out of curiosity.

@aek8: I've seen and spoken to many doctors.

@Witness1: Does that mean that you actually gave one of your organs (you make it seem as if you donated more than one) to somebody else? Or did you just agree to be an organ donor in case that necessity arises?

My personal problem with being an organ donor is that in case I'm involved in some sort of bad (but not quite fatal) accident, doctors might see me as a bucket of functioning organs and not a life worth saving.

I still personally prefer choosing a word I can remember (usually something in Romanian, since I speak the language), and then coming up with some sort of code for typing that word.

@coirbidh: I agree. With the iPad, it's a different form factor than the iPhone, which means 3G iPads won't eliminate an owner's need for an iPhone.

@RicketyCricket: Well, the back of the new one is not as curved as the 2nd and 3rd-gen iPod touch.

@coirbidh: No, that's a contract. I was hoping for something a la iPad, where you can pay whenever you want to use it, and not pay when you don't. The difference is meaningful.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: Same here. For someone who doesn't have one of the three consoles or a new Blu-Ray player or TV, this is a pretty good value, if only for the Netflix.

Unfortunately, it's still missing GPS, a compass, FM radio, a new design (that chrome back only looks good for the first few minutes out of the box), some kind of 3G option (like the iPad), and possibly a lower price. But I may have been hoping for too much.

@Kay-Ell: No. Otherwise, they wouldn't have increased the price by $30.

@dogved: It's the same design, but thinner.

@Channan: Even brand new, you'll be lucky to get more than $150 for the 8GB iPod touch. It's still something, though.
