You’re ignoring his third choice, which was by far the best option: pointing the truck off the road and risking rolling it. He rejected it over the *possibility* that it might roll, and instead chose an option that was *certain* to cause injury and likely to cause death.

That rings true for LATAM(latin america) where I live. Almost all countries in Latin America put heavy taxation on vehicles (import tax, registration tax, sales tax) and there is so much that people can pay for a new car.

Roads you haven’t driven on are dark grey, not orange. They turn white when you’ve driven on them if they’re a paved road, and they turn red/orange when you drive on them if they’re offroad/dirt. Maybe you have some sort of accessibility option turned on that’s showing them as orange? 

All of this is a prime example of both how and why the dealer model needs to die and how Ford screwed up the Bronco’s rollout with its reservation system. Ford should have done a better job of explaining to customers how reservations work.
