The brakes on Aguilera-Mederos’ semi-truck failed, and he crashed into stopped traffic, killing four people.

The general belief is he should get a ticket for maybe $100 and lose his CDL. Did you miss the plea deal? That would not have been life.
An additional factor, including that he destroyed the brakes by misuse and knew the brakes were at risk (he had pulled over when they weren’t working properly to check them,) was that he held a provisional Texas-only driving license. That license was only valid inside the Texas border. It’s reported he missed a…
he was charged with too many things
He went about this all wrong. Once he found the Air Tag, he should’ve purchased a tranquilizer rifle and parked the car somewhere easily monitored. Cut to a point some time in the future & the thief wakes up in wearing a ball gag chained in the basement of a pawn shop.
YouTube has taught me that you now fill the car with dogshit, glitter and explosives and park it on the porch.
You’re ignoring his third choice, which was by far the best option: pointing the truck off the road and risking rolling it. He rejected it over the *possibility* that it might roll, and instead chose an option that was *certain* to cause injury and likely to cause death.
I guess I’m a sucker because I watch the channel all the time and have never thought it was faked. Maybe it was just the one video you saw out of context. They work next to some extremely sandy and muddy areas that people flock to for off-road adventuring. I don’t get what would be faked, or why you’d go through the…
Individuals shouldn’t need cellphones to get the warning instantly.
Its biggest flaw is... the thing that gives it a ridiculously low center of gravity?
As some also deaf in one ear (my right), all I can say is... he’s using it as an excuse for careless driving. I can hear trains blaring their horns at a road crossing more than a mile away from my house. He heard that train horn and attempted to rush the train to keep on schedule to avid whatever punishment Amazon…
That rings true for LATAM(latin america) where I live. Almost all countries in Latin America put heavy taxation on vehicles (import tax, registration tax, sales tax) and there is so much that people can pay for a new car.
“This is both true and an evasion, as that fact has not stopped plenty of other automakers from going all in on EVs. Toyota should just admit that it plans to be part of the problem for the foreseeable future.”
Sorry, neither case holds up to scrutiny:
Came here to say the same thing. You could throw a dart at a calendar and the date you hit will be a few days before a major downturn in TSLA.
Eh, i think the takeway is less "Kimbal Musk is a genius" and more "Tesla is highly volatile".
Roads you haven’t driven on are dark grey, not orange. They turn white when you’ve driven on them if they’re a paved road, and they turn red/orange when you drive on them if they’re offroad/dirt. Maybe you have some sort of accessibility option turned on that’s showing them as orange?
All of this is a prime example of both how and why the dealer model needs to die and how Ford screwed up the Bronco’s rollout with its reservation system. Ford should have done a better job of explaining to customers how reservations work.
Having played soccer as an 8-year-old boy, I can verify that I would have considered it a dumb comment and immediately ignored it.
Didn’t they slight Battlefield 2042 as more of the same too?
