Yes exactly.  The trade in went from $24k 8 months ago to $28k today.  I am paying 7% more for the new vehicle than last year, but getting 16% increase in trade in.  Rolling all of my equity into the new one and lowering paying by $100 a month.

It’s like all these arguments depict Musk and Bezos as counting their money as it sits in some Scrooge McDuckian vault somewhere.

Musk doesn’t have $170 billion. Yes, he’s filthy rich, but come on here, he doesn’t have $170 billion. When you guys say shit like this, it undercuts your argument. It comes off as you being disingenuous, so what other things are you being disingenuous about that I might not realize?

Yeah, I did buy an 18 Golf R because it was the only fast hatchback with a stick that I liked but ened up selling it after 18months becuase, while a great car, just a bit too small. I’ve put three mtn bikes in the back of my wrx, a dishwasher, 65" flat screen, and one time 60 feet of rolled up chain link fence

I thought I might just say screw it and get the sedan, but on my test drive when I opened the trunk I cracked my skull into the bottom lip and gashed my forehead

Nope! Hatches forever!

Definitely not always!

Second gear: That’s not a vote of no confidence, that’s a vote of asset diversification and cashing in big time.
For all we know, the guy left because realized “to hell with it, I’m worth hundreds of millions of dollars, my boss is a tool, and don’t need to work for him to live like a king forever
which is exactly the

As a current nicotine addict, I can confidently say that your statement is untrue. I go out of my way to keep my nasty habit from affecting others.

I’ll admit that, looking at the responses here, this story was too “inside baseball.” It’s poking fun at how journalists often write reviews about cars they haven’t driven in months. This happens all the time in this industry. They get a huge back-log, and then write a review many months later as if they just drove

Yeah, but those are cops, of course they weren't convicted. This guy is toast.

Brent Peltomaa valued that cat more than he valued his life.
Michael Campbell valued punishing a thief more than he valued his freedom.
They were all in love with dying. They were drinking from a fountain
that was pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain.

The guy who was driving appears to have a long history of drinking and driving arrests. At this point, it appears to be more likely to be “drunk driver doing drunk driver stuff” than “terrorist incident”, unless some other info comes out.

“Why didn’t you stop?” Dunn questioned.

Just time and again the question is: What the fuck are cops thinking?!?

A used dealer that knows what it is doing is checking prices and adjusting to the market regularly. I worked at a place where the used car manager did every morning. I forget the site(s) he used, but they moved a lot of metal. If the car sits for any length of time, it is either overpriced or otherwise not

Have...have you seen the most recent Mecum auction results?

That’s... not how anything works.

Got a ‘97 C1500 I bought a year ago and have probably spent <$1k in fixing-up and cost me $2,500 to boot. People always come up to me and ask how much I want for it: “$5k and it’s yours!”

1st Gear: Dealers bad.

You and I have very different definitions of “blast.” Yes, I’ve driven one.
