Missing the CCTV footage of a Sherrif throwing his hat on the ground

Sorry, Raph, but your take on eliminating traffic stops is as bad today as it was almost a year ago. I pass by a monument everyday going to and from work because some jackass didn’t think that they needed to do 15mph in a school zone and ran over a little girl and killed her. Over ten years later, I don’t think that

You really feel like getting shit on today, huh? Not one rational take in the whole gearbox. Maybe you should get the water in your building tested for lead. Just sayin’.

1.2 million is ‘middle class retirement, if you’ve got the house paid off and don’t plan on buying more cars’. It’s only ‘private island and private plane’ money if you’re renting both for a week before you go back to work.

Naw she knows what she did and damn you for making me side with the police! I may never forgive you.

There are thousands of car accidents daily, probably hundreds of single car accidents from people looking at their phone and drifting off the road. You ever hear of any of them making front page news for days? With zero damage to property other than their own none the less? If anything he’s been given unfair special tr

Fine. Who cares anyway? I could see if he had injured someone other than himself, then maybe release the cause. Otherwise it just seems like paparazzi ambulance chasing.

The Northeast Corridor line is actually the one consistently profitable line on Amtrak. It would be nice if the “High Speed” Acela was actually remotely high speed (relative to the rest of the world). If we had an Acela like Japan’s high speed rail, we’d have a sub 1 hour NYC to DC trip instead of the current trip

I can’t stand this obsession with thinking people that make more money aren’t doing their fair share. In Canada, as a doctor I’m considered well off, but I’m the only person I know that pays 10% tax to the hospital, then another 50% on everything from 120-216k and 54% above 216k and then 15% sales tax on whatever’s

Approximately 30% of the US population lives in large cities where mass transit might be appropriate. 70% live in suburban or rural areas where it generally is not. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for the allocations in the bill to reflect that reality, if not even more skewed given the history of underinvestment

I consider myself a disillusioned libertarian.

Didn’t realize Swift was getting into container ships

I qualified for the vaccine because I’m technically obese so thank you, Krispy Kreme, for making sure I qualify for the next one as well.

Watch full video. Multiple direct crashes were imminent without driver paying significant attention.

Am I the only one bothered by the fact that the car is angled into traffic and the wheel is turned waiting for the opportunity to make the left turn?

Another Tesla hit piece from Jalopnik. You wouldn’t even be writing about a car being locked to a Supercharger if it weren’t a Tesla! I haven’t seen a single post on Jalopnik about other cars locked to Tesla Superchargers.

I always laugh when they try and add extras such as filters and wipers.

For me, back up cameras have completely changed my parking game. Backing in is so much easier to do, in terms of visibility and accuracy. It’s a great feeling to back in evenly between the lines, and end the job with the red line overlaid perfectly parallel to the curb. *chef’s kiss*  My rule is to back in only if

It’s situational. Going to get groceries? Pull in forward. Parking in a lot with less traffic? Back in. With the proliferation of back up cameras, especially the ones that curve the limit lines when you turn the wheel, it should only take one try. If you can’t back into a spot in one try, go over to an empty parking
