It’s not just Ram. I saw a BMW X5 recently that had an xDrive35d badge on one side and an xDrive35i badge on the other. Hopefully they didn’t also put in half of a diesel engine.

I have a friend who is similar. He admits he’s a moron for getting so many tickets. For a while it seemed I would see cops on the road less often than he would get tickets. He had a really good lawyer though.

I saw the same thing with a vintage race car. The car did not get completely destroyed on impact, but there was no roll bar or anything above the guy’s chest and after he rolled there was wall where there had just been a person. I talked to a couple guys afterwards who did the same type of thing and they said it

How about just stocking them in dealerships? I’m ok with the visibility and a V6 Camaro would be plenty of power for a daily driver. I’ve driven the regular V6 and it was ok. I think I’d like the 1LE better, but I haven’t seen one in stock anywhere near me that I could try out. I’m never going to buy it if I can’t

I used to take a class with a woman whose husband was a cop in my town. I drove past him parked near the road in a 25 mph zone on a regular basis and assumed he was trying to catch people speeding through there. I mentioned it to her one day and she told me ‘Oh no, that’s where my husband sits to make phone calls.’ I

So if I buy a new car, what do I do when the doofus at the dealership forgets to tighten the bleeder screw when he does my brakes, all my fluid leaks out on my way home, and I don't realize until I test the brakes entering an offramp at 60 mph? My downshifting and handbrake combination barely worked to get me stopped.

Where’s the love for those of us who use USB-C? That car charger looks cool, but I have zero use for a lightning cable. I’ve been checking these deals for USB-C cables lately and I feel like all I’m seeing is lightning cables.

It’s not that uncommon on high-profile cars. Most Porsches are expensive, high-profile cars that will fetch a good bit of money for the dealership if they can sell it. I’ve also seen it with Corvettes and $100k+ custom cars. For a Dodge dealer, they might do that if you had a newish Charger Hellcat. They’d probably be

You need a can of some sort of waterproof outdoor lubricant. I bought something like that and have it in my truck. I used to bust out the WD-40 regularly, but I can’t remember the last time I needed to use this stuff. Works a lot better.

Cooled seats are amazing. They’re definitely the biggest reason I want any car made after 2010.

Since that was a Limited, it was produced after that vehicle was no longer for sale to consumers, which means it was outdated enough to pull off the market, but the rental companies wanted more, so they built more. That car came out in 2005 and wasn’t ever significantly revised. The Impala that replaced it in 2014 is

I’ve recently gone through this with a couple of people. One wanted a Ford Focus and one was looking at a couple of Subaru models. On the Focus, we found a cheaper new one than a couple of used ones we’d seen online, and the Subarus were all similar to your results. I’ve noticed Wranglers, as well as the Subarus in

No, the month is the same for all the salespeople. It has nothing to do with when they were hired.

That would apply If she purchased the car new. Since she still owes twice the value of the car now that it’s 6-7 years old, she obviously didn’t buy it new.

Considering they’ve had trouble getting cars to finish in the past, it’s an accomplishment. Not as big of an accomplishment as beating equal competitors, but still an accomplishment worth cheering.

I agree with you. It’s a bunch of hassle, and if the car is in especially poor shape then the work they have to do to get rid of it will likely cost them as much or more than whatever they can sell it for at auction. Spending time sending it though service to get the recalls done, maybe paying someone to clean it,

It’s a military vehicle with a ton of power and 4-wheel steering. It handles exactly how I would expect it to. It’s no sports car.

I believe you’re thinking of the Cruze third owners. I know a couple of them that fit that profile. The Cruze first owners aren’t so bad, and the second owners just want a cheap throwaway car to get to work and back. Then they throw it away to the third owners.

Have you driven one? As far as compact cars go, they’re pretty good. Better than a Corolla of the same year in my opinion, and that seems to be the standard ‘I know nothing about cars’ vehicle.

Not Toyotas. You can ask, but Toyota builds what they want to.
