I’ve run into this a few times now and I just used the Do Not Disturb card. All the ones I’ve come cross have had that card that’s meant to go into the card slot on the outside of the door, but they work just as well on the card slot in the light switch.

This sounds like the perfect plan. Right now I daily a Prius Plug-in, my fun car is a Cobalt SS turbo, and I have a pickup. My wife drives an SUV. Having the right tool for every job is great. I think I need something a little less practical than my Cobalt though. A track Miata would be perfect.

I see where you’re coming from. I daily a Prius Plug-in purchased used and put about 25k mil miles a year on it. My nice day and weekend car is a Cobalt SS turbo, and I have a pickup. The wife drives an SUV. I’m considering swapping two cars for a WRX or something along those lines because it’s sometimes annoying

My in-laws have property in the mountains near here, and often have to go around to check on things and haul dead trees out of the woods for firewood. Right now they have a quad, since trucks can’t fit through the woods, but they’ve been looking at getting a side-by-side. The quad is also legal on the local roads

If she bought a new car, she’s already failing at trying to save money. I picked up an off-lease Prius plug-in a few years ago for less than a comparable regular Prius at the time, and about the same as a comparable 4-cylinder Camry. I paid about 40% of the original MSRP.

I have an ‘09 Cobalt SS as well and I’ve run Seafoam through mine every 20k or so since new and haven’t had any issues. I can tell when the motor isn’t happy, but Seafoam and an oil change smooths it right out.

I blew out the heater core on my S10 last month on a Friday afternoon as I’m about to head home from work. They made however many millions of S10's, so I figure this should be in stock anywhere. I called the local GM dealer, they tell me they might be able to get me one next week. That’s not soon enough.

Well that explains why flying seems so much less stressful with noise-canceling headphones. And why it seems like such a peaceful commute when I drive my Prius instead of my truck or my loud car.

Why not really take aim at Porsche and put a flat 6 in it? A flat 6 behind the front wheelswould leave plenty of space for cooling and turbos in addition to making it mid-engined. This wouldn’t leave quite the possibility of big power, but it would be cool and would definitely kill the V8 stigma.

If this is anything like the CLA, I still want the hatch.

Still no A-class hatch here? I tried the CLA, but I couldn’t sit in the back seat with my back and neck straight. That means my friends, who are as tall as me, could not fit. That means it’s off my list for my next car. I’d love an A45 though.

Definitely not a bad vehicle. A friend of mine used to have one of those that was a hand-me-down from his mother. It rangreat, hardly gave him any trouble. The auto in it did nothing to help the meager power from the engine though.

Buying my first car in cash to replace my hand-me-down truck was when I first felt like an adult. Saving up for that while paying rent and not making much money was tough.

It’s all a Mirage.

I have a jacket that is about 10 years old and pretty wasted. My wife and father point to various stains and tell me to throw it away, but I throw it on whenever I’m wrenching in the cold and it just collects more stains.

I’ll take...uhhh...nevermind. I think I still have an Infiniti thumb drive somewhere and some Scion stuff. I should probably throw it away, if my wife hasn’t already. I think the thumb drive was like 256mb anyway.

The Grand Cherokee is really in between. It’s not big enough to have three rows, but it’s a little bigger than the Edge. The Explorer is bigger than the GC in almost every dimension.

Around here there are plenty of soccer moms that can huck around a Tahoe or Expedition, but the ones that stand out are the ones who can’t fit a Rav4 in a parking spot.

There are so many reasons I love driving my 2002 S10, when I have other newer cars. This is one of those.

Nope. I’ve driven both and I want a Miata, not an 86. I’d love a Miata hardtop though.
