And the decision is left up to people who weren't smart enough to get out of jury duty. The more intelligent people who should serve on juries seldom do, it seems.

So did she end up testifying?
"It isn't lying. It's cherry picking."
I'm surprised that the review didn't mention the scene where the prosecutor was asking about the effects of the drugs that were in Naz's system and was basically told by the doctor that she would testify to whatever effect the prosecution needed.
Doesn't it seem, though, that the men who are possessed get identified fairly easily and are much more violent and extreme than the women, who seem to be able to "pass" for a longer period before they are noticed?
I wonder if there is any significance to the fact that it's mostly women who seem to be possessed…or they seem to cope with being possessed better than the men (publicly, at least).
I'm really hoping that there's a more interesting explanation for these "possessions" than simply demons or similar religious crap. Like there's an actual reason or purpose behind what they are doing, as opposed to just fucking with people for the "hell" of it..
Nuns are hilarious cartoon characters.
Funny that the reviewer didn't mention the shadow lurking in the window behind the fire chief after the prostitute left. The fire chief's wife is a scary creeping bitch.
Hate to break it to you, though, but you know that this chick is hiding something that's going to fuck Jay up when it comes out. No one gets an easy road on this show, whether they "deserve" it or not.
I agree completely.
"He seems touched that Ava thought to order food for them, and his eyes
tear up. But I think it’s more likely that he’s still angry about what
happened to his mom."
I was wondering that myself…
It's funny…Each week, I put off watching "Kingdom" for a couple of days at least, knowing it's going to put me through a wringer. I'm a non-violent peacemaking pacifist in my real life, so, at first glance, this show should hold no interest for me.
He's definitely going to fuck up the election for Selina, right?
No. What makes it BDSM? Spiked beads.
"I’m sure someone laughed at Keith … but I still don’t think he serves the story.
Brava, Felicia. That was a tour de force. All the Oscars to you.
Sweetie, how can I make this so simple that even you can understand? I will try one last time to explain this not-at-all difficult concept:
OK we're done here. Clearly you are not in touch with reality.
