That's where we disagree though—intent. I maintain that his intent was to win the fight. The racist language was (to his thinking) simply a convenient and effective contrivance that he employed towards that goal.

You were the one who came up with the premise! Was it a trick question, or what?

Oh, I don't think Trump believes he is racist. What I meant is that regardless of what he believes, his mindset and things he has said in public regarding issues involving race prove that he is racist.

…K.

But his past words and actions prove that he is.

Of course they did.

Giving power to racism is believing in it. Belief is a gray area the warrants understanding, dialogue and nuance, intent is not.

The problem is that you are assuming that Ryan said those things because he believes them to be true. I don't think he does.

You're right. But I was assuming that the Mummy has definitely been slated for next season, so after that, what's left?

Dear, no one has said that hurting someone using race is "acceptable."The fact that he did it was shitty and mean, but Ryan is not necessarily a racist because he did it. He's a guy who is used to winning (being the "alpha," as he describes it), and in the particular situation in which he found himself, the most

Your premise is what is too simplistic. Do you not understand what simplistic means? Be honest…

Yeah, they've pretty much burned through all of the Universal monsters. Are they going to move on to the "Son of" characters next?

That is far too simplistic.

Plus he's hot as fuck.

If she had been white, he would have used her gender or her family background or her homelessness or whatever else was handy to inflict instant pain. He picked race because it was the easiest tool he knew would hurt the most.

How is it not just innately understood that an absent erection does not suddenly eagerly appear with the application of a spotlight on the problem and demands that it happen NOW, right NOW, dammit!

Correction: Donny is the Most (Donny Most—get it? God, I'm old) and Felix is Fab.

I don't hold out a whole lot of hope for Paige making it out of the series alive.

I was going to make the same comparison….I came to both shows with such low expectations and was blown away by each of them.

Ulrich Thomsen is already been cast (and appeared in 2 episodes) as a new character with major ties to the main characters and the overarching story on The Blacklist, so clearly he's not lacking job offers.
