This is an awful lot of controversy for a movie that will be mostly forgotten by the time Justice League comes out.
If you zoom in very close on her eyes, you can clearly see via the reflections on her retinas that she's watching a Pizza Planet delivery truck drive past.
It was a well-executed, well-acted, and visually gorgeous horror-thriller yarn without much in the way of deeper thematic elements (at least none that were explored in any detail). I enjoyed the hell out of it and recommended it to virtually everyone I know, but it's not a masterpiece. It's just fun - no more, no less.

I dunno. A big-budget Ed Wood movie would probably have had at least some of his usual charming, earnest, idiot joy, while a Shyamalan movie's budget is inversely proportionate to how much of it I watch before wanting to turn it the fuck off.
