Kid, I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I’ve seen a lot of cute stuff, but I’ve never seen anything to make me believe there’s one all-adorable entity that fans will accept. There’s no mystical cute puppet that controls my fandom! It’s all a lot of simple camera tricks and CGI.

It’s why they hate Kylo so much. He struck a nerve.

Can there be a scene where in the background some Resistance fighters are gathered around a YouTube like site watching Porg videos? Because man being part of the Resistance, long hours, no or little pay, friends dying, you’re going to need a YouTube break.

Kylo Ren Syndrome. Fans who envision themselves as total badasses but are really just insecure dweeby wannabees overcompensating for their lack of badassery.

that dino dad thicc

Hunter’s rejoining SHIELD? Wonder what he would say now? Seriously though, this is a good news. Hopefully Palicki will be back as Mockingbird too.

I hope Hunter and Mockingbird both come back. They were some of the more enjoyable parts of the show when they were on it.

Beautiful and terrible as the dawn! Treacherous as the sea! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth! All shall love her and despair!

Is anyone else looking forward to Thor: Ragnarok more than any other movie currently? Including The Last Jedi?

Conflict doesn’t have to mean forgetting things the characters know, or ditching character development. You can have conflict between characters that comes about through convincing decisions that flow naturally from their characters.

The might be some lingering animosity between the sisters and possibly a little sibling rivalry... but I’m still hoping this is somehow a ruse on the part of Arya to let Little Finger think his plan is working.

The conflict between Sansa and Arya feels so contrived. Like they needed something for the characters to do, decided the old rivalry dynamic was best, and then forced it in the most ham handed, illogical way possible. A way that seems to contradict both characters’ development and, well, characters.

So basically it was the heterosexual version of what happened with Cap and Bucky at the end of the Winter Soldier?

Oh stop. This type of article is why people have no longer come to Io9 in droves and it’s now a sun blog of Gizmodo.

I see io9's hate-on for Iron Fist/Danny Rand still persists.

Danny Rand is basically Bruce Wayne without the darkness. Lost his parents, trained his whole life for a single purpose, fought to regain his family fortune after being presumed dead, begins mission for which he was trained. Rand only comes off as smug because he didn’t let his mission turn him into a “dark knight” of

It seems like they’re keeping Danny as the developmentally arrested big kid in this, which I think will work really well when paired with the world-weary, cynicism of the other three. I really like his enthusiasm for the team up.

I too like Mon-El.

*also slithers into the shadows, bringing muffins and Supergirl on tape*

I am with you: I like Mon-El. He clicked with everyone on the show. He made me laugh. I am so glad he will be back next year. That said, I could really do without more relationship drama on Supergirl.

Also a big fan of Mon-El. I thought he was super charming and really liked how Supergirl inspired him to be a better person. I think the James plot didn’t work in season 2, but the idea that Kara inspired both James and Mon-El to do better and become heroes worked very well. I also really liked their romance. So there.
