The whole ACC thing in the tourney wasn’t the crux of my comment, but sure let’s go down that road. They did well in 2015 too, though in 2014 they got six bids from a 15 team conference with only one of those six making the S16. In 2013 in the last year of the old BE the ACC got a whopping 4 bids.

Funny you mention Pitt on an article talking about how that program has gone down the toilet. They’d be a guaranteed two wins in the BE now (so would UConn, who is mediocre in the crappy American). Cincy is beating up on shit teams in that same American conference. Syracuse is in its usual perennial bubbler status.

Spoken like a true butthurt UConn fan whose school got left behind in conference realignment.

CP for the Fox body (I’ve seen a lot cleaner ones than that in the 5 grand range), and huge CP for that Maverick. Almost $3700 for that POS? Maybe $700.

I’d add Hinkle Fieldhouse as a stop as well for basketball lovers (BLF was actually modeled after Hinkle) on the Butler campus. Building is on the NRHS, was an army barracks during WWII, and of course was the location for the state title game in Hoosiers.

Ha nice hot take. Louisville is fun to visit. Is it any more interesting than Indy? Nope. Though as a bourbon fan it’s of course the winner in that category over everyone.

What year CX-5? The new body style or the previous? I have a 2016 and enjoy how it drives but good god does the interior rattle. I took it in with only 2500 miles on it because the windows were rattling. Apparently there was a service bulletin and the windows required more padding due to a loose fit or something. It

Maybe it’s the video but that exhaust sounds like crap. Had I watched with my eyes shut, I would’ve guessed it was a motorcycle revving up.

This comment is so much better than anything I could have come up with regarding that anemic power output of a forced induction 4 banger.

I’m 34...this was also not a thing when I was a kid. Maybe it’s a regional thing? IDK.

Soft spot for these as I loved them as a kid. Even if the prevailing opinion is that they were ugly (I personally disagree), they looked many times better than the fugly jelly bean SN95 Mustang. Would smoke them in a straight line too. Like the front end of the 93-97 over the fish mouth 98-02s, but of course would

Players have only been required to stand on the sidelines during the anthem since 2009:

True. Though the garage is a detached pole barn with no heat but point still stands.

My folks have an ‘03 Sierra that I was using to move some furniture when the brake line failed on me bc it was rusted out. Thankfully was just pulling out of a driveway in a residential area when it happened as opposed to on a busy road or interstate at speeds. Terrible design, having the lines exposed in the fender

Haha that scene cracks me up. “Where do you keep this magnet?”

Who would beef up a 305 anyway? Even if someone wouldn’t want to pay for a junkyard LS truck motor (which there are plenty of and not all that expensive), one would be better off buying a crate 350 instead.

You take a bizarro way to get to Columbus from Chicago if US30 is your route of choice. Why don’t you just take the interstate through Indy and save yourself 2 hours of driving?

Agreed, though these wheels look much better than some of the other ones in their stable currently. Low bar to clear, I know.

Doesn’t matter what I drive. My vehicles suit my purposes just fine for what I use them for, but I’ve seen you plenty of times giving someone a hard time for remotely suggesting a CUV or midsize pickup is best for their needs saying they should just get a minivan instead.

Man you love to post photos of this fugly thing.
