Fuck the NCAA and its Byzantine rules. I worked doing video work for the athletic department when I was a student there a few years back. My favorite games to work were baseball games because I mostly sat looking at my phone until a play happened and then pull up the replay for the online stream.

Some quick calculations show that our fastest spaceship, new horizons, would take over 850,000 years to make the trip. Right? If it’s traveling just over 14km/s right now.

The album The Suburbs is about the Butlers brothers upbringing in The Woodlands.

Younger, class of 2013.

Fellow spider!

Awesome guy! Was able to meet him when he came back to visit the ol’ alma mater (university of Richmond) after his last trip up to space in 2009.

My data usage has gone through the roof since I started using directv now. We watch maybe 2 or 3 hours a day of tv, plus some Netflix here and there. Thankfully I don’t have a limit, but it seems Comcast has a 1 terabyte limit in some places across the country.

I’m currently watching this show on Netflix! Thanks to everyone on here who kept referencing it.

Nice poster. Over the weekend I finally read The Cursed Child, and oh boy was it a waste of my time. I checked it out from the library and was glad I didn’t buy it.

My district is solidly blue in Arlington, but VA-10 is the closest swing district to us here in the DC area. I know this past November I saw more ads for that race than I did for the presidential race.

The Friday before MLK is Lee-Jackson day. I moved to VA during high school and went to college in VA but wasn’t aware of it until I started working for the state a couple years ago and we had a four day weekend.

Arcade fire has a husband and wife as the two main singers and song writers. Their first album, Funeral, would be on my list. And honestly most of their favorite songs are the ones Regine sings in. Haiti and Sprawl II (mountains beyond mountains) are two of my favorites.

A friend and I watched it on Christmas Eve. We both fell asleep and woke up the next morning agreeing that it’s not worth it.

Arlington looks more like a city than D.C. does. (I’m in the greys, so you guys probably won’t see this. Meh)

Meh

Remind me of “Kleenex”

Seeing how often the US government has interfered in other countries elections, it was only a matter of time until it happened to us.

I’ve done the same thing, driven and seen most of the lower 48, but in my car. Crater lake had been by far my favorite spot and this picture is probably my favorite out of all I’ve taken. It was summer and a bit chilly up there, but not a single cloud in the sky.
