I spent my morning commute yesterday in DC pretty much looking at my mirror just waiting for a car to slam into me. Thankfully it didn't happen.

I gave up and went back home. It's not so much that the roads are bad, it's the drivers that are bad.

This is why I miss my home state. I currently live in Virginia and you can only get liquor from state stores. At least beer and wine can be bought in grocery stores.

I've neevr been caught speeding on the interstates in VA, but I have been caught speeding 20 over the limit in some local roads here in Fairfax. I must be lucky cause every single time I'm let go with just a warning.

I got pulled over for going 57 in a 25 zone Halloween night, also in Fairfax county, and the cop only asked me if I had been drinking. I told him I hadn't been drinking and he just let me go and told me to be careful. Not even a warning.

Pause. What?!?!?! Three fucking hours!!!!

Stopped at the liquor store after work just so I can have enough booze for this event.
