I have been waiting for the price of e-ink displays to come down for 10+ years now, wonder why it hasn’t? I can get a 85" 4k for less then this. I remember predictions of these displays being cheap as paper...

Not sure how Costco is “rising above” Sams membership unless you mean literally the price is above it. Sams is still a $10 cheaper membership even after the price increase last year, and they have scan and go, and don’t nag you to show your card constantly.

yep they still do. and in some places then are crazy about what counts as your "local market" . In college in Iowa we were blacked out for: Minnesota, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Both Chicago teams, and I think K.C. as well.
