Couldn't agree more. The Bombcast continues to be vital and The Beastcast is the icing on the cake. LONG LIVE GIANT BOMB!
Your last paragraph is exactly why I enjoy Deafheaven so much. Much of metal just sound like it's made by metal fans for metal fans seems really slow to progress in anyway. With Deafheaven bringing in influences from outside the genre, they are really creating something interesting, fresh and not boring.
For me it's Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar. If you break down what they do and how they do it onto some paper, in a list form, they do everything I love in other artists. However those elements brought together by these two men into their music and it doesn't click with me at all.
PS I Love You. The Band not the Movie. https://youtu.be/sYQGZz4L65k
Yeah, Beastcast isn't exactly for the uninitiated. Best listing to the regular Bombcast first or better yet check out clips on youtube. https://youtu.be/vszY9hnYnEc
Honestly I don't get why people are so into this album. To me in just feels a bit empty.
FYI Steven deKnight said on twitter that they only had Dawson for 5 episodes…
Like Skinner himself said "Cult classic not best seller"
Maybe he could have an online awards show called the Kanye's and do just that.
Good to see Sex getting a mention. I really enjoy the series but it aint half flying under the radar.
LA Confidential massive fan of the movie and read The Black Dahlia and The Big Nowhere last year so it was great to finally get it read.
Wait wait wait… Jai Courtney, Varro in Spartacus, is playing Captain Boomerang in the Suicide Squad movie. Nick Tarabay, Ausher in Spartacus, is playing Captain Boomerang in Arrow…. WTF IS GOING ON!!!!
It's not disappointing for the people who would need to by £700 plane tickets, take a couple of days off work and fly to the US just to be able to see it.
I found the movie really underwhelming. It reminded me of the first episode of the new doctor who series. Both felt artificially lengthened and those boring and directionless at times with scenes running minutes longer than necessary.
Bruce, Selina and Edward do not need to be in every episode of the series. They should be recurring guest stars at most. These characters has one or two scenes at most but feel like they are only there as reminders this is related to Batman which totally isn't needed. Bruce getting obsessed with the grand wayne…
No reference to the BBC F1 theme (AKA The Chain)? MADNESS!
That Clap Your Hands Say Yeah song was such a wierd opener. Glad it's on the list.
Ultra Violence and Hyper Sexuality are typically used to comment on the topics themselves. It's why I simply can not get incensed when these methods are used. Anyone who compares Bayonetta to a normal everyday woman needs to have a long hard think. I'd never thought about comparing Bayonetta to the world of drag…
He'll be in Arrow though.
