Pretty much every launcher has this permission. It means, as it states, that it can directly dial phone numbers from the app and is used for direct speed dials from the home screen. Without this permission, the app would have to send you to the normal dialer app for you to select the phone number before the dialer app

Basically, yes. Bertrand's entire life has basically been one long torturous tale of one part of his body breaking, having it taped back together, followed by another part breaking. His mental development stopped at 8 months (before further white matter degradation). He cannot blink, and needs his eyes moisturised

I spent the entire article marvelling at your intense blind devotion to your son's life.

I cannot approve of this comment enough. Corporations as legal entities with rights is a ridiculous concept, and should be ridiculed accordingly.

Same. Fantastic phone.

Grey Kangaroos are something like 70kg's, so it'd be almost 50% larger than a normal Grey Kangaroo (which is the largest Kangaroo species that lives in Tasmania).

WWII man. A lot of young to middle aged people died prematurely, thus taking them out of the death rate for the next 50 or so years until everything gets back to normal.

Agreed. That was pretty gold.

Honestly, do I even *need* a 1080p camera on my phone? No. In fact, I don't even really *need* a camera on my phone at all.

I thought the overly flirtatious and suggestive language it uses would have been more of an issue than the creepiness.

The problem here is that I want the Samsung CEO to lose on principle of being a scumbag, not because I actually think Apple deserves a perfect win.

Nah, don't stress. This is the real cheese. The stuff you buy at the supermarket isn't.

Agreed mostly. The Bran/Rickon fakeout worked well on me in the books. I instantly hated Theon for being a cold hearted bastard when he "killed" the boys, then I hated him again for being a sneaky, wimpish, cold hearted bastard when they were revealed to be alive. In the TV show the whole thing was very poorly done.

I, too, was hearbroken to discover this.

And because, in this fictional example relating to phones, you have no real moving costs, you tell him to go shove it, and go live somewhere else. Easy.

Completely valid point, but I'm just not getting the vibe you assert from this article.

Rent controls are to control greedy landlords because the landlord knows more about the property than you the tenant do, and because moving is expensive in both time and monetary terms, so just switching houses at the end of a lease is not a great option.

According to this logic, when I sign a 2 year contract on my rental property, it's also bullshit if after the 2 years are up the landlord decides he wants to re-negotiate the rental price.

What about the false positive rate? If that's 93% too, then that's a lot of people freaking out about having HIV when they really don't.
