Wow, so many podcast comedians in that commercial. There’s too many podcasts too...
Keri Russell, Betty Gilpin (GLOW), Thandie Newton, Drag Race, and The Americans. Thank you.
Kirsten Dunst was the best part of the best season of television I’ve ever seen, and I still can’t accept how overlooked she was. She was mostly nominated iirc, but only one the Critics Choice -- insane.
Honestly it’s the one bone I still have to pick with Gaga in her ascendence. She should not have beat her for AHS…
Thandie Newton is the anchor of Westworld that keeps it legitimately in the realm of “prestige tv” and from going totally off the rails, so I’m pulling for her personally.
Peak tv produces so many absolutely stellar shows, which means not nearly all of the them can get more than five people watching them, let alone any recognition.
Second season was ok to pretty good, but otherwise I agree. It’s always a shame to see a performance (and premise) of that caliber go to waste, but as long as Tatianna gets better and better roles from here on out, it’ll be worth it.
Aw those are good ones. Here’s hoping all relevant talent behind them had already jumped ship to other gigs before the fiasco that is 2018.
Wooooah this comment section is crazy. Did not know anybody’s blood still got pumping for Eminem.
I seem to remember something about him knowing for sure that the pee tape exists, or some other grandstanding claim to relevance to a Trump scandal. A few (C list) celebrities have done that in the past couple years, it’s verrrrry weird.
They had me at Cate Blanchett, and then had me again when they gave her a magic umbrella.
I’m a fan of Star Wars, and its fandom’s omission from this list is ridiculous.
Beyonce fans are on the bracket, they just didn’t progress
Freakshow was suuuuuch a total mess from episode 2 onwards that I really do think it’s the show at its worst. Its messages, plots, performances, storylines — it’s fucking insane that they put out a season that all over the place. Its one redeeming quality was Jessica Lange and Elsa Mars being an actually interesting…
Huh, I mean the character in question was not a minor character. They were a main player all season long. I don’t see how they were an odd choice to focus on towards the end.
And even if people don’t “like” the character, I could have sworn the performance of the actor playing the character was praised as a strength of…
Freakshow is tied for worst with Coven, for my money, but I really think people need to give Roanoke another look. It’s maybe the weirdest season in terms of tropes/setting, but it weirdly fucking works, especially the latter half of the season. There are moments in Roanoke that remind me “oh yeah, this is ostensibly…
Woah, somebody’s grandma is one tough mother
Pretty excited to see Daisy lead the uprising against the new regime once she morphs into the Ripley-esque action heroine she’s always yearned to be from inside those suffocating yellow frills and ruffles.
The floor is all mattress.
Loki are big and iconic Marvel villains but I suppose you’re largely right. But it’s also not a strength of Marvel’s, villains. They have some icons but most of their good ones are X-Men villains, in my opinion. On the other hand, DC has tons of iconic villains, even outside of Batman’s rogues gallery. Even if they’re…
