I wanna see Robyn with some brass knuckles.
I wanna see Robyn with some brass knuckles.
Now why bring that evil into existence by voicing it
I dunno if I’m ready for the twist of Pooh stripping the Infinity Gauntlet off the hand of the now-dead Thanos, only to become to biggest threat to the universe any of the heroes have ever seen...
Damn, I agree that this episode was the best yet, but I’m bummed that Noel Fisher is out of the show. He was definitely the most developed/easiest to connect to character so far -- even if the others have picked up some of the slack in recent episodes, they’ll need to do more to keep this show from being too clinical.…
Or it’s the same same but different thing at play -- similar characters, similar characteristics, different stories.
Depreston is an amazing song -- I think maybe my favorite of any song Courtney Barnett’s put out yet -- but calling it “good-natured” seems ... inaccurate.
Get Paula Pell to write it
I can take or leave this series, but this trailer seemed pretty effective to me. The sense of awe, beauty-in-destruction thing it’s got going on, it does very well.
I think he’ll be set up as the archenemy though — I’m not worried about him being Scarecrowed.
Right. I want a well-defined, specific person behind the mask, not just a generic inspirational successful superhero. Stargirl is a lot of fun when done right, so I choose to hold out hope.
I hope we get an interesting characterization for Stargirl. I know that’s a naive hope but I loved the kinda catty, Mean Girls’ Regina George-lite version they did with the JLU series. I think having a superhero who is occasionally a sour brat is pretty interesting and entertaining (though maybe she just paired really…
Damn, 2018 has me in the mood for a nice apocalypse
Explaining that clip to someone who hasn’t seen or isn’t familiar with Legion seems impossible.
Such a bummer to be honest. They should let there be two different Batgirls -- Cassandra’s Batgirl is so terrifying and ruthless, it’d be awesome to see the bat family member that best commands fear ala Batman as part of the team.
Good catch, forgot about him, as I’ve tried to forget about nearly everything in that movie
Hm where’d you read that? That’s an interesting idea. Maybe they’ll be fusing the stories of Cassandra Cain with Sin to some extent -- though if it’s Harley’s movie, maybe she becomes the motherly protector instead of Black Canary...
I mean, all the big names have been covered, right? Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face, Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, Ra’s, Talia, Scarecrow, Catwoman, Harley...
We’re definitely in the second tier if this is someone who has never been in a film before. Someone else here suggested Strange, that seems like a bad fit for the…
My money on the Birds of Prey villain is Lady Shiva, possibly as the head of the League of Assassins. Is that largely because I’d kill for a Black Canary/Lady Shiva martial arts showdown in the climax? Yes.
Yeah honestly his name on that list was the one that surprised/disappointed me the most.
That’s what I’m feeling too. I mean her and Daisy are kinda generically beautiful brunette women, and bear a mild resemblance to each other, so it’s an obvious/easy conclusion to jump to even if that’s not what they’re doing.
