Man, these grey comments about workers not being able to handle the content of a game they signed on to make, way to miss the point. Exposure to material like this effects the human psyche negatively, blanket statement, end of story. Even if the extent of that damage is desensitization and is largely not at a

All of the money is being hoarded at the top, and it’s becoming a compounding problem. Our wages are depressed and the costs of everything we need to purchase are increasing. It pretty much sucks, and there’s fuck all we can do about it.

The other side of this is that real estate agents are lubricious scum- and that online tools to facilitate all steps of a sale are an autoimmune response to paying $20,000+ just for someone to set up a few showings and eDocuments for you.

Someone is making money - it ain’t us.

Yeah it has been a little strange that wages have been depressed/stagnant, housing costs and prices have been skyrocketing, yet we are supposed to believe people are not being targeted with predatory loans anymore. I’m sure I’m oversimplifying but it does seem difficult to believe.

Yea, it’s stupid that some guy found a way to monetize this while I’m sitting at a fucking desk. I could think of a TON of less fulfilling careers to choose.

Given he's a streamer he's no doubt been making money in all those hours spent with this game. Seems like that makes those hours more fulfilling and more productive than any gaming you've done in the last five years.

Morals and investment/speculation rarely are bedfellows.

They need to release the name of the shareholder. Covering for him and protecting him sends an even worse message than many might think.

In a moral world, probably, but this person is apparently a substantial shareholder. Meaning it’s largely by their money that Echo Fox even exists. Kick them out, the entire organization goes with them unless someone else steps in.

It damn well SHOULD be the other around.

Yeah, I mean, I can’t figure how that isn’t the thing that’s happening here.

This is actually really sad. I can't help but think it should be the other way around. The investor that used the racial slur should be given the boot by anyone and everyone who has the power to do so.

EA’s just gonna start selling games via lootboxes.

Well you are apparently making a career out of showing your whole entire ass to the internet, so good luck with that. How’s it pay?

After taxes it’s around 26,000. If you’re lucky.

It’s always one of those “I feel like I’m taking crazy pills” things with me. Fighting for any wage number is not a great way to use resources without requiring that the wage is tied to cost of living or inflation, etc. Like, even if $15 sounds good to people now (and in lower cost areas it is good), by the time it

The lifespans issues you hear about are from enterprises that access the drives 24/7 or people who have early generation SSDs. A modern SSD in a consumer rig will take several decades before problems start to crop up. Even in enterprise solutions, modern SSDs can last a decade. The tech has come a looong way.

Really like that they will focus on backwards compatibility. I have both Xbone and Ps4 and primarily play on the latter, but I love how many older games I can play on the former. Replay all of Dragon Age and Mass Effect recently and just started an Lost Odyssey playthrough.

I do remember playing a bunch of Soul Calibur 2 in college and I used to wreck people with Yunsung largely because everybody considered him crappy so nobody played him which meant nobody knew how to defend against him.
