Don’t be so pessimistic, look at this great e-mail app I love...
Highlighted by the fact that they are currently closing Inbox while anouncing this. I have no faith.
Five years to shutdown. Two years until active development ends.
So are we betting one year or two years before Google gets bored and just shuts the whole thing down?
One of my favorite moments from RDR2 was being able to be that one jerk in the theater without any repercussions what so ever
Stories like this make me wonder when we’ll get past this “Live Service” bubble that every company is apparently trying to get a piece of the pie of. Which is sad because the idea of a game getting continued content after launch would make me happy in an ideal world. The problem is the content I like the most - single…
In Red/Blue the Water starter was strongest because the first gym was rock type
The divine beasts were the biggest misstep.
Maybe don’t restart? The first few hours of the game are a bit slow tbh. Once you get a bit more resilient and have unlocked more of the game’s mechanics it’s just about going places and doing things.
Yeah, same! I kinda “accidentally” ended up in the final boss fight and I decided to go for it thinking I would die and then get back to business. But I didn’t die and then the game ended and I had so many side quests left! I had already done all 120 shrines though, so it felt REALLY anticlimactic to go back just for…
Go back. It has one of the best stories of any game ever.
My biggest complaint is that the divine beasts (and shrines) have very little visual variation, and the divine beasts were less satisfying to solve than even individual shrines. Shrines felt focused (if sometimes a but simple), divine beasts felt like bumbling around until you solve 5 puzzles. Hyrule Castle was…
I’ve been playing Zelda games for almost 30 years, and possibly my greatest achievement is beating the Trial of the Sword, in Master Mode, with 3 hearts.
I learned to kill almost everything with bombs ...
And you get more inventory space!
> Are you saying that it eventually stops being annoying how your weapons break after four swings
I tried doing both at the same time, but alas, BotW won out. Haven’t been back to Horizon since :-/.
I really wish after defeating Ganon that the game would have allowed you to keep going off that save. I still had plenty of side quests and shrines to finish but it felt anticlimactic to go back to an earlier save situation to finish that up only to go back later and do the thing I already did. It would even be nice…
I just came back to it yesterday for the first time in a year! Man, this game is an absolute joy. Playing it is joyful. Weirdly, it’s been harder to get back into the swing of remembering that I don’t really have to kill every bokoblin I come across like some vicious murder hobo. The only real incentive to kill is to…
