it’s not really the rapping that’s the appropriation, it’s the attitude and the “blaccent” which are entirely unnecessary and yes, absolutely not their experience. The idea that prosecutors just enforce the law is not grounded in reality. The level of discretion they have is more akin to the President than a legislator. And it’s not just that she did some of these things; she is actively proud of them!

I’ve seen her be asked about [the death penalty] numerous times now and her answer has always been that she is opposed to it.

Primary season is the right time for tough, but fair, criticism of a candidates record. I just hope that once the Democratic primary is over everyone rallies (and more importantly votes) for whatever candidate is selected.

I protested when nonprofit health care systems were converted to for-profit back in the ‘80s. Of course, my protests didn’t stop the tide. We’re stuck with it now, until and unless we can bring the U.S. up to date with the rest of the industrialized world. 

For profit health insurance is an abomination. Maybe there can be a private non-profit health insurance option but probably not. There used to be when Blue Cross and Blue Shield were largely non-profit. They no longer are and it was bad republican tax policy that took that away.
