It’s devastating that every single department has at least one The Guy Who Women Warn Each Other About. The one I knew about in my department died recently, and I didn’t feel one bit bad about feeling relieved.

The Cavaliers have bumped everything down a notch for me. Nothing has seemed as improbable as this, even the Red Sox comeback. It just felt impossible that something good could happen to Cleveland, and it felt impossible that LeBron’s homecoming would end with anything other than several failed trips to the finals as

I would give the Bills a Super Bowl. However, I’m not sure whether I’d give them the first one, because maybe that would have somehow changed the course their history, or the last one, because the thrill of finally winning after three brutal loses would have been incredible.

Also I’m not even primarily a Bills fan.

“Maybe he’s just happy to be here: he played 1,411 regular-season games and 165 games before reaching his first Cup Finals, both NHL records.”

Do you perhaps mean among active players? Because Dave Andreychuk definitely played more regular season games before making a Cup Final.

I’d love to know what 32 teams would change. Would 32 mean four divisions, or back down to two? If it’s four would they get rid of the wildcards? Or would there be one WC and the crappiest division winner would get HFA in a one game playoff? Or maybe best of 3?
