Not the 6.0. Some people do it for heads, but I’ve always just removed the evap box and cut the rear bolt. The 6.4 and 6.7 both have many cab off procedures that are very common repairs. High pressure pump on the 6.4 comes to mind.

You don’t lift the can to do a flex tube. Just pull the turbo. Takes two hours, tops. Where you got the idea to pull the cab is beyond me. The workshop manual certainly doesn’t say it.
