Listen.

I was sitting at my desk reading a blog.  2 minutes ago.

Seriously. Headline: “Breaking:  Hollywood Father Compliments Daughter In Normal Way, more at 11"

I thought it was nice. I feel like I must have misplaced my cynic gene or something, considering my reaction to the story that was written.

A father says the nicest, least narcissitic, least sexist things, about his daughter in public and somehow that’s...weird? And taking credit for her doing well?

That remark doesn’t read as a judgment on anyone but herself. If she wasn’t able to smoke weed and be a useful member of society and passionate about things, it’s good she quit. Doesn’t mean others can’t do what she couldn’t.

Not nearly enough Beth Ditto in that ad!!  Mr. Beckham Jr. looks very nice though!  The lamp’s a little too ‘80s for me, though.

I mean why shouldn’t a gossip columnist shit on an actual journalist who has been on the front lines of Iraq and Afghanistan reporting along with tragedies such as the Pulse Shooting, the Haitian Earthquakes and the devastation in Puerto Rico? Along with being a Peabody, Emmy and Cronkite award recipient?

Didn’t you know that its “cool” and “edgy” to mock people who’re obviously broken up about the loss of a parent?

It’s where we’ve been for a while—though even for this site that was a strained rant.

This is so dumb.

Counterpoint: No, he doesn’t. He’s a genuinely good person who is imperfect, like everyone is, but is actually willing to learn and grow.

Joanna “Jojo” Levesque has traditionally performed as a brunette.

Yeah, it was super basic and forced.  The little moments (Casey Wilson and her Gubi chairs, Keanu of course) were the movie’s saving graces.

Maybe marching bands are just awesome, and we can just celebrate mainstream celebs utilizing them in such high-profile ways.

Save your fainting couch for now, Lauren, there is a reasonable explanation. Every month the Sussexes are changing their list of “follows.” They are limiting them to organizations or sites that represent charities, etc. that are “close to their hearts,” for that particular month. Every month will bring focus to

I don’t think Kim was denying that she has a lot of assistance that makes it possible for her to go to become a lawyer. What she was saying was, she still has to do the work. She has to put in the internship hours, she has to pass the interim tests, and she’ll have to take the bar exam. Some people seemed to think she

She does not.  California allows the option of serving as an apprentice to a licensed attorney for four years.  After that time, you can sit for the bar and, if you pass, able to practice law in California just as any other attorney who passes the bar.  The pass rate for people who try it this way is about 30%.
