They usually can’t define it because what it really means to them is: “A slur I’m still allowed to say”
So I will throw in here that that Steam post from the tweet in the article is almost certainly parody and not genuine, though it is mocking genuine arguments that are present on the Steam Forums they seem to have witnessed.
Anyone who uses the term “woke” to downplay something has typically been unable to actually give me a definition of what the word even means. They just don’t like it, so therefore it’s “woke”.
This world is becoming dumber, I swear..
I think the big problem is that people aren’t willing to wait for the buildup anymore. Phase 4 is basically Phase 1 again, where the MCU establishes the new generation of heroes and a lot of the complaints I’ve seen are about the lack of an overall story despite the presence of multiple long-term storylines and the…
A reboot is where you go from there.
I don’t see these things hurting Marvel and Disney too much, tbh. After all, we are kinda entering the “Simpsons Season 10+” phase of the MCU, where a lot of its cultural dominion is starting to fade, the cracks are starting to show, and passion from the fanbase will start to decline.
Or do. What do I care? I’m not your dad.
Rolling around at the speed of ground. RIP Sonic... at least they didn’t make you pregnant.
Haven’t had a chance to play it yet but honestly I think this is great. Plus, I assumed the game would look pretty cheap but it actually looks pretty good? Wild.
The situation is not exactly the same, but I recently crashed my dream car that I had owned for about 3 years. I loved that car, planned on keeping it the rest of my life, but because of the insurance settlement, I have been able to basically hit a hard reset on my entire life. Pay off credit card debt, have no car…
A lot of cards are worth based on their collector’s value and not their playability. See Foil Charizard from the original set. A card that is unplayable now and even if it was playable it’d be terrible due to power creep. Heck even on release it wasn’t especially great
You never entirely beat cancer, you’re always in remission.
Surviving also doesn’t change the fact that he had to go through it as a child, something you can’t change.
Since he beat cancer, shouldn’t he have to give the card back?
“I want to part with the card now after so much time, one, because I think the anticipation has really been killing some really avid collectors,” he told Cimo. “I’m not getting any younger, I want to start a family, I want to own and operate my own business and also help my community as well as travel and see my…
Sounds like you went to a crappy law school. I bet they even renamed themselves from “The Law School” to “Law School” without following proper protocol.
It may be only ‘near-mint’, but to be fair, it is the best minted ‘Tyler’ card out there. They don’t come any mintier than this one.
I was on the fence with this mentally until this statement, “I’m not getting any younger, I want to start a family, I want to own and operate my own business and also help my community” - If the card that is all about beating one of the hardest obstacles in life, goes on to creating and supporting new life, then thats…
Hmmm... I don’t recall learning about this in law school, but I’ll take your word for it. If you can’t trust a random person on the internet, who can you trust?
You don’t get to do this on your first sequel, the second game has to be either numbered or have a subtitle. You only get to do the same name twice after multiple sequels and at least a decade have passed.
I’ve checked the law and found that this is true, what they are doing is illegal, don’t look it up.
