Really? It’s referencing the new BOTW DLC that upgrades the Master Sword when you complete it.

Midrange Hunter is not face Hunter.

“Face huntard”? You really haven’t played in awhile, have you? Hunter has been dead for...months.

They really need to make it in adult size.

They really need to make it in adult size.

You might really like the HD version then. It was revamped by making you actually pick classes for your characters, so they weren’t basically all the same at the end.

Stand up for your friends, bro.

And that’s fine. My whole point is just that IF I didn’t get the joke, I’m not going to be bothered enough or care enough to look it up.

They only used it three times that episode. It had been used previously several times though, so I understand the mistake.

The jump in quality between the episode where Trunks shows up and Trunks kills King Cold is staggering.

You misspelled Basch. Search your feelings, you know this to be true!

In my humble opinion, XII is the single most underrated Final Fantasy of the series. No, it wasn’t perfect, but doggone if it didn’t craft a world that really felt like a living, breathing place.

Kuja is quite literally just a more-girly Sephiroth.

Don’t cut yourself on that edge, hipster.

Personally, I think the PS era’s went VII-IX-VIII, but IX really did hit a lot of high notes. Great music, cinematics, and the use of the analog stickfeels so much better.

And in calling me a non-gamer, you aren’t?

FLCL spoke to me at a time I was in a really bad space. I’m stoked for 12 more episodes.

Right, because if I’m a gamer, I’m playing literally every single game out there.

Dude, I’m not whining. My original point is that even when I DO have the context their joke is centered around, I still don’t usually find it funny.

For the record, I’m a gamer. Been playing for years and, judging by the quality of your post, I’d say I’ve been playing since before you were born.

You know how a joke is less funny when you have to explain it? Imagine telling your audience, “If you don’t think that’s funny then I’m not explaining it to you.”
