Hard agree. “Honest Hearts” was my fave of all the NV DLC, and I replayed it multiple times.

I always loved The Lonesome Road the most of the NV DLCs, though I found them a bit of a Rorschach test for Fallout fans in the area of which themes they enjoyed the most.

I really need to play both of these still.

It’s interesting that you don’t even consider the fourth implied notion here. You readily accept that religion can drive people to zealotry and all kinds of intense emotional states but then ignore the notion that maybe the real implication is that religion wasn’t necessary for any of those outcomes in the first place.

Honest Hearts had the best dlc story. Big MT was really funny, but not quite as moving. Also, in addition to Graham, you have the various Native American tribes who you interact with in the canyon and examine your role as a potential imperializer or ally, and I think it is a critique of the "White Savior" role, given

Also, Planescape: Torment is the closest you will get to a philosophy course in videogame form.

Gracias! Was definitely the boldest cosplay I've ever done

Some fantastic stuff as always... but those pillar men from JoJo tho... holy crap.

I consider it a great game for a simple reason; I want to keep playing. I keep wondering what I haven’t found yet or what new cool easter egg I haven’t unlocked yet. It’s the most genuine fun I’ve had exploring and playing a game in some time.

I was thinking about that poor bastard just the other day.

The thing about the Game Boy is that it wasn’t famous for drastically compromised ports of the other handhelds you mentioned. You played the Game Boy for Tetris, Pokemon, Metroid II, Dr. Mario. Games that played well on the Game Boy and had fantastic battery life. Games where the developers knew the limitations of the

Adorkability is severely underrated.

If Superbad didn’t do it, the moment where we truly realized Bill Hader was a genius came here, removing any doubt for all eternity:

That baleful, horrified glare on the actor who plays Gorbachev just blasts through the screen. He has very little dialogue but, yeesh. I want to go find the real Gorbachev and hug him.  Then hit him with a baseball bat.

The first time I saw him spouting his MRA bullshit was 7-8 years ago I think, and he and his wife divorced about 3 years later? I refuse to google it.

I think Scott Adams believes the boss is the hero of the strip because he’s in charge. The engineers think they’re smart, but they can’t be because they aren’t the boss. Dogbert was specifically created to glorify the ruthless, inhuman evil that Dilbert lacks. (Plus Scott Adams created a character who is an evil dog,

Their oath is to take no wife, shire no children, own no lands, that doesn’t mean they can’t frequent brothels or have random sex with whoever. Just remember where Arya found Meryn Trant and what kind of things that guy was doing.

I’m actually kind of curious on the exact wording of their vows.

Nah, they made Professor Xavier king to set up the X-Men reboot.
