I can remember two separate occasions sent frozen hams falling from a sharply turned overpass from southbound 75 hwy as it connects to i70 East. Another time, on the same curve, a trailer carrying cars also lost control and sent two cars over the edge narrowly missing a trucker below.

Is it me or have we seen these curves before? I’m getting such 90’s Taurus vibes from these new droopy Mercedes’

2003 Pewter GMC Safari. This van took us all over the country on summer road trips, and served us moderately well. My parents had to change the transmission once, and fix the infamously unreliable air conditioning almost every year. But I must admit the styling of this van was always very sharp and simple, something

As a resident of Topeka...yes, yes we do need a diverging diamond interchange. Or just lock up the CRV Lady (who is now terrorizing the streets with a bicycle mind you). Either one will work.

I was thinking about blacking out my B pillers on my mk4 golf. But I never got around to doing it hha

Haha wow! American, German, Japanese...your garage has seen them all. I have an 02 MKIV Reflexsilver Golf. Before the Golf I had a 92 accord and my first car was an 88 Ford Tempo (tragic little car)

What VW do you have?

It’s not like I wait to the last minute. People think the turn signal is humble request to possibly get over. No no if I have my signal on I need to go there.......>>>>>>

I didn’t quite understand that part of the story either. I would have chased her down but maybe they deemed her to dangerous of a driver somehow.

I drive through 2 of these badly marked intersections to work everyday. I just slow down enough to see there are no cars and continue on

The state motto should be “Kansas, it’s not that bad”. I don’t know how many times I’ve told foreigners that xD

Hey! It’s so funny you keep up on this story. I’m in Topeka, if it’s not the CR-V lady running you off the road, it’s people on i70 not letting you over to the exit lane, if they don’t get you, the craters (I mean potholes) will. Safe drivers in Topeka should be qualified for the Indy 500.

This is amazing my childhood van(s) were all GMC Safaris (indentical to Astro obviously). We had a red 80's model (with those super dated vinyl decals), then a 90's one (white paint with blood red interior) then finally an 03 (boring beige and grey)

Who else saw that beautiful Defender!?

Lincoln! I love that name

At least they were in a Volvo 🙌🏼

Reminds me of the Ford Explorer/Mountaineer rear hatch crack. THEY ALL crack

What's funnier? The dogs or the people they interviewed....

I just had my first experience on the autobahn last week. Being from the USA it was always a dream of mine. I was only brave enough to hit 200kmh (125mph) in the Seat Leon FR. But it’s super intensive and exhausting as the highway is constantly changing and people getting on and off and always someone going faster

I had that exact memory just now of having a 1/18 scale model of it. Such a sleek mustang.
