Salem is great but if you want the chills, visit the site of the Salem Village Parsonage in nearby Danvers. This is where Reverend Parris’s house once stood and where the girls first had their fits. You follow a footpath through a patch of woods to some stone foundations. It’s a very quiet and eerie spot.
