I <3 the editor who corrected the headline.

No, that isn't the argument.

You are probably right, but it *did* shut him up ;-) I was a little tired of hearing the argument that everyone else needs to just embrace rape, and never think about or question the portrayal of it.

Hello! You're actually incorrect.

I won't call you old-fashioned; just a sexist.

You don't understand what dem_bones meant by 'context', do you? In the context of the show, Joffrey is not actually a child; he is old enough to marry, have children, and fight in wars.

This is where you're wrong.

But it is up to you to determine how people can feel about representations of rape in television?

Hi Janet!

"it's a perfectly fine thing to worry about"—by 'it's' I assume you mean 'it is'. By 'it' I assume you mean rape.

You just lost the 'being a decent human being' game. Congratulations.

Isn't it funny that it is mostly men who feel that way? Gee what's wrong with the women?! CAN'T THEY JUST TAKE A JOKE???

Hi Jeffries,

Why are we suddenly hearing about it?
Because more women than ever are in broadcasting and media, and they've decided to speak up.
Many men are realizing what women have been dealing with, and are finally speaking out too.

Oh, don't worry, I won't be returning :). I've found this to be a singularly depressing and demoralizing excursion into humanity.

Juiol:
Every woman has a 1 in 4 chance of being raped. As such, I think we can say that every woman is affected by rape; if they haven't been raped, they worry about it, know it may happen, and have to think about it.

Hello Janet!

..

No she isn't.
The TV character 'Ros' was originally the 'red headed whore' who makes 1 appearance in the books.
