Not bad. You held it together for 4 whole sentences before you let your inner child out. Might have been able to make a salient point ... but no, you had to go to childish insults, which just totally cut the legs off from anything else you might have said.

+1.

There’s nothing more pathetic than some incel simping for Musk. Seek help.

I would guess the Empire segregates their work camps by species as a result of productivity studies.

The last shot in next week’s episode will be the prisoners crating them up Raiders-style, and as they slam on the lid a stencil is dramatically revealed: “POWER CONVERTERS FOR TOSCHE STATION, TATOOINE.”

Everyone’s already talked about how good it is, but man oh man, this show has been a breath of fresh air.

Ah yes, the traditional Chandrilan cocktail of putting a gummi worm in Prosecco.

I actually loved the confrontation between Saw and Luthen. It was insanely well acted and written. When I saw Beau Willimon’s writing credit in the end titles, I knew why.

I’m loving the planet variety and detail we’re getting from this show. It’s nice to get a SW property that isn’t 90% desert worlds

Those scenes on Narkina 5 felt more like a metaphor for working at an Amazon warehouse

I hope he never gets a real trajectory, certainly nothing important to the plot. Syril is the embodiment of the sniveling loser side of fascism and it is entirely appropriate for him to spend the entire show being kicked around and belittled by other fascists.

The scene between Brownshirt Javert and Dedra is sad and funny. A pathetic fascist fanboy with an overblown opinion of himself desperately sucking up to an SS officer.

Low-key enjoyed the extremely on-the-nose discussion at the cocktail party of Emperor Palpatine in virtually the exact language of Republicans talking about Trump.

No, the show won’t bother with any of that.

Is it odd that I got a little bit of a nerdy joy at seeing Andors future commando buddy Melchi from the Scariff raid as part of the Table 5 crew?

More connective tissue to Rogue One: one of the prisoners with Cassian is named Melshi --- who will go on to be part of the Rebels’/Jyn and Cassian’s Scarif mission team. Same actor, I’m pretty sure.

This show is astonishing. The real life stakes of these characters contrasting the brutal banality of fascism executed in the most beautifully produced Star Wars Galaxy to date. I can’t believe this show exists.

The most exciting part for me was seeing that Admiral Yularan wasn’t just in for a cameo last week and is going to be an ongoing presence. Maybe we’ll even go into what made him into such a hardline Imperial officer after he got along so well with Anakin and Obi Wan during the Clone War.

Week 8 of Damn I Love This Show.

Really good Rogue One connective tissue in that Cassian’s fellow prisoner is Melshi, who helps him lead the raid on Skarif.  So likely he comes along whenever Andor busts out.
