I liked Mandalorian a lot, it had its issues but it’s very nice to see genre TV that isn’t Game of Thrones get so much love from award shows.

I don’t know what the fuck anyone’s expecting here. The theatrical version was a shitshow, but at no point was I thinking “this needs to be longer, both figuratively and literally darker, and more humorless.” Even money this version is actually worse.

Rather than a “cornerstone” I think it’s simply a matter of production being shut down, so why not have some high-profile content which only requires post-production?
